Job summary

A local renovation firm in Singapore is seeking an Interior Designer to develop and design interior concepts, produce 2D/3D drawings, and manage project delivery. Ideal candidates will collaborate closely with project managers and engineers, ensuring designs meet standards and are executable. Responsibilities include selecting materials, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role aims to turn client visions into practical, achievable renovations while maintaining quality and budget control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design interior concepts and layouts based on client requirements, architectural drawings, and renovation scope.
• Create 2D/3D drawings, renderings, and material boards for client presentations.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures in line with project budget and design standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, quantity surveyors, civil engineers, and subcontractors to ensure designs are feasible and executable.
• Review design implementation on site, ensuring quality, aesthetics, and functionality are maintained.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve design-related issues during renovation works.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients for procurement and installation of interior elements.
• Prepare design documentation, specifications, and reports for project handover.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Assist in cost estimation and budget management in collaboration with Quantity Surveyors.
