Job description

• Work closely with clients, interior designers, and project managers to understand design intent and user requirements.
• Create and revise detailed carpentry drawings using Colehom or similar design software.
• Ensure all designs comply with material specifications, technical limitations, and production feasibility.
• Conduct accurate measurements and calculations to ensure precision in dimensions, cut-outs, and joinery.
• Recommend appropriate materials and finishes based on design and functional needs.
• Collaborate with fabrication teams to clarify designs and resolve any technical issues.
• Prepare and maintain up-to-date documentation, including shop drawings, cutting lists, and specification sheets.
• Conduct site measurements and verifications when required.
• Ensure all outputs meet quality, safety, and delivery standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in carpentry or joinery design (minimum 5 years preferred).
• Proficiency in Colehom software or other CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
• Strong understanding of woodworking materials, hardware, and modular systems.
• Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in liaising with clients, contractors, and workshop teams is an advantage.
