Infrastructure and Release Engineer
Infrastructure Support:
  • Implement and manage comprehensive patch management strategies for operating systems, applications, and network devices to ensure security and compliance.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee infrastructure upgrades for hardware, software, and network components, minimizing downtime and ensuring compatibility.
  • Manage, deploy, and maintain OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environments, including installation, configuration, scaling, and troubleshooting of clusters.
  • Perform OpenShift cluster maintenance, including upgrades, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer and manage network infrastructure, operating systems, and security patches.
  • Develop and optimize pre‑ and post‑patching processes to ensure proper implementation without outages and prioritize patches based on risk and opportunity.
  • Support temporary scaling, tuning, or automation initiatives for Linux environments, including patching and compliance auditing.
  • Monitor and manage network performance and security, supporting and troubleshooting issues related to network, hardware, and software.
  • Ensure all network upgrades adhere to security policies and standards.
Release Management:
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across the organization.
  • Develop and manage release plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and implement automated build, test, and deployment pipelines to streamline software delivery.
  • Manage and maintain version control systems (e.g., Git), ensuring proper branching, merging, and tagging strategies.
  • Coordinate release activities with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve build and deployment failures, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for release processes, tools, and configurations.
  • Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Monitor production environments post‑release to ensure stability and performance, addressing any immediate issues.
  • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards and governance during prototype vehicle build support and evaluation.
  • Lead complex application deployments in load‑balanced service‑oriented environments.
