Job summary

Regent Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to grow our freight forwarding and logistics solutions. You will generate new leads, reconnect with past contacts, and manage the sales pipeline from quotation to deal closure.

The role requires at least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in logistics, strong English communication, and a self-sufficient, street-smart mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience (preferably in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain).
• Past operational experience in logistics is advantageous.
• Diploma or Degree in any field is required.
• Strong communication skills with fluent English (spoken and written).
• Self-driven, can-do spirit, street-smart, resourceful, resilient with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new leads and reconnect with past connections via calls, meetings and emails.
• Build rapport for long-term client retention through world-class service, speed, and attention to detail.
• Manage the entire sales pipeline from leads, follow-ups, quotations, negotiations, to deal closure.
• Maintain and update accurate client records and ensure the sales database is up to date.
• Coordinate with other teams in preparation of quotation and deal closure.
