Job summary

A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking a lawyer for its in-house legal team. This role involves advising on a wide range of commercial contracts and providing legal support for investment teams. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Law, be qualified to practice in Singapore or another common law jurisdiction, and have at least 2 years PQE. Proficiency in Mandarin and strong organizational skills are essential. This position offers broad exposure to legal matters across SEA and China.

Qualifications

• 2 years PQE.
• Legal experience gained in fund management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise and draft a wide range of general commercial contracts.
• Draft and manage corporate secretarial documents.
• Provide legal input for transaction execution.
• Deliver day-to-day legal advice and support.
• Execute ad-hoc legal assignments.
• Assist with fund management legal activities.

Skills

Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written)

Strong experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work independently

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Law

Qualified to practice in Singapore or one common law jurisdiction
