Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider in Singapore is looking for an experienced IT Network Administrator to manage LAN/VLAN, VPN, and network hardware. You will conduct cybersecurity tasks, collaborate with vendors, and support end-users. A minimum of 7 years in IT, strong technical knowledge, and relevant certifications are required. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Local Area Network (LAN/VLAN), Internet connectivity, and Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
• Procure, install, configure, and upgrade network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi‑Fi access points) and related software.
• Monitor network performance, traffic, and utilisation; diagnose and resolve connectivity issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, configurations, IP schemes, and operational procedures.
• Administer end‑user accounts, authentication, and permissions for network resources.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with headquarters to ensure adherence to group and industry network standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end‑users on network‑related issues.
• Liaise with vendors for procurement, support, and maintenance.
• Act as Information Security Lead to develop and implement security strategies, architecture, and policies.
• Conduct annual information security assessments and regular cybersecurity training.
• Advise senior security stakeholders on risk posture and effectiveness of security measures.
• Coordinate incident response for security breaches or cyberattacks.
• Support internal and corporate audits to meet security requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on IT experience, including end‑user support (L1/L2), network administration, and basic security operations.
• Strong technical knowledge in Windows 11, Apple iOS, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD administration.
• Experience with service ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi‑Fi configuration, and network diagnostics.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto and Fortinet network products.
• Hands‑on experience in cybersecurity tasks such as policy development, training, incident response, and security implementation.
• Knowledge of ICT service management practices and frameworks.
• ICT procurement and vendor management experience is an added advantage.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft 365, ITIL, CCNA, CISSP, PMP) are an added advantage.
