Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team and support our ASEAN regional HR initiatives. The successful candidate will support the country heads in promoting HR initiatives and play a crucial role in talent management, HR communication, and employee engagement across Southeast Asia. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to work collaboratively with local managers and HR teams. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering talent development and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • HRBP Role (50%): Support the country heads in promoting HR initiatives in a timely manner.
  • Plan and execute talent management activities to expand business in the region.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to business leaders and managers.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand their goals and develop HR strategies to support them.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Identify and address HR-related issues and opportunities within the business units.
  • Talent Management (20%): Implement groupwide Talent Management Initiatives for Hitachi Asia and Hitachi group companies.
  • Mobilize the right talent for the right roles at the right time across Hitachi group companies.
  • Employee Engagement (20%): Analyze results of employee engagement surveys and share the analysis with the leadership team and business lines.
  • Formulate and execute action plans for improving employee engagement based on analysis results.
  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities.
  • HR Communication (10%): Plan, organize, and collaborate with Hitachi Asia country HR to execute the Asia Human Capital Conference.
  • Support the organization of HR Managers Meetings in each Hitachi Asia location.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HRBP roles, minimum 5 years.
  • Strong understanding of talent management, HR communication, and employee engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel and work in different countries as this position requires frequent business travel.
