Responsibilities
- Fully take responsibility full spectrum of HR functions including but not limited to recruitment, compensation benefits, performance appraisals, training & development, payroll and etc.
- Develop and recommend HR practices/ procedures ensuring compliance with company policies/ local laws/ regulations to avoid legal implication
- Manage talent development plan & build talent pool for talent attraction & development.
- Prepare employment, confirmation, increment & promotion letters for staff.
- Apply, renew & cancel all types of foreign worker work permits.
- Handle tax clearance for all departing foreign employees & yearly IR8A submission of income tax to IRAS.
- Payroll and payroll budgeting.
- Calculate monthly salary listing, prepare payslips & prepare Giro payment on a timely basis.
- To review staff's daily punctuality & submit weekly/ monthly HR reports to HR Manager.
- Calculate & submit monthly CPF on a timely basis.
- Tracking and processing of attendance in the E-leave System and maintaining all the leave and medical records for staff.
- To review & process staff reimbursement claims for all levels.
- Conduct orientation to new employee & handover procedures for those leaving staff.
- Plan and organize employee welfare & recreation activities.
- Handle insurance renewal and claims.
- Apply claims for Government regarding all types of leave eg. Maternity leave, childcare leave, NS
- Update Staff Handbook.
- Maintain Opensoft eleave and payroll software.
- Attend to questions raised by employee regarding HR policies & procedures.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- At least three year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Strong in both written and verbal communication in Chinese and English (in order to attend to questions raised by Chinese and English speaking employee regarding HR policies & procedures.
