A leading HR solutions company in Singapore seeks an HR Specialist to manage visa and pass processes, support recruitment, and implement HR policies. The ideal candidate holds a relevant bachelor's degree and has 1-3 years of HR experience. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required for effective communication with local authorities. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to cross-regional HR initiatives and engage employees through various activities, ensuring a supportive workplace environment.
1.Visa & Pass Management: Handle the application, renewal, modification and cancellation of various work passes (EP/SP/S Pass, etc.) for local and foreign employees of the Singapore team. Track updates to immigration policies, assist in resolving common approval issues, and ensure compliant and efficient processes.
2.Local HR Policy Implementation: Based on the headquarters policy framework and Singapore's labor laws, assist in developing and rolling out basic HR policies including benefits, attendance and performance management. Collect employee feedback and propose optimization suggestions to ensure policies align with team needs.
3.Recruitment Support: Support the Singapore team's recruitment efforts, including job posting, resume screening, interview coordination, candidate communication follow-up and onboarding handover, to ensure timely talent acquisition.
4.Onboarding & Offboarding Processes: Manage onboarding procedures such as employee induction, contract signing, personnel file establishment and office equipment allocation. Handle offboarding matters including exit interviews, handover follow-up, salary settlement and pass cancellation, ensuring standardized processes.
5.HR Records & Data Management: Maintain electronic and paper-based employee files to ensure information accuracy. Regularly update core data such as employee rosters, attendance records and personnel movements, and submit basic HR reports to the headquarters and China Region HR Manager as required.
6.Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as the HR contact person, respond to employees' daily needs promptly, and assist in organizing employee care activities such as festival benefits distribution and small-scale team-building events to enhance team sense of belonging.
7.Cross-regional Collaboration & Compliance Support: Report directly to the China Region HR Manager, and collaborate on cross-regional HR initiatives (e.g., policy synchronization, data consolidation, process alignment). Monitor updates to Singapore's Employment Act and relevant regulations, assist in ensuring compliant HR operations. Collaborate with the headquarters on training coordination and performance data collection, and undertake other basic HR tasks assigned by superiors.
1.Education & Major: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Law or related fields is preferred.
2.Work Experience: 1-3 years of hands‑on HR experience in Singapore, with a good understanding of various work pass application processes and local labor laws. HR experience in the AI industry or software companies is highly preferred;
3.Professional Competencies: Ability to independently complete basic HR tasks such as visa processing, onboarding/offboarding and records management. Basic understanding of core HR module logic, with fundamental communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic HR tools.
4.Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin, able to communicate independently with Singaporean authorities such as the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and medical institutions, and conduct smooth Chinese‑language work communication with the China Region team.
5.Core Competencies: Strong sense of responsibility, meticulous and rigorous work attitude, with certain stress tolerance and multi‑tasking capabilities. Good at integrating into teams quickly, adapting to the flexible work environment of startups, and possessing strong cross‑regional collaboration awareness.
6.Eligibility Requirements: Hold Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) status or a valid work pass, eligible for full‑time employment in Singapore.
