What the role is:
You will be a key contributor to a broad spectrum of HR policies and implementation that aims to achieve SID’s vision as a ‘Choice Employer’.
What you will be working on:
Work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to devise, review and implement HR strategies and policies in one of the following domains - (i) Welfare Services and (ii) Discipline.
Welfare Services
- Work with key stakeholders to design, review and drive policies and implementation relating to staff welfare and benefits, to ensure SID remain effective in promoting staff retention.
- Work with key stakeholders to devise and execute employee‑related benefit schemes and payments (e.g., Leave, Medical) to meet SID’s intent of upholding staff morale.
- Run outplacement policies and processes to ease SID officers into their retirement years.
- Run awards nomination and ceremony to recognize outstanding or long‑serving officers.
Discipline
- Work with key stakeholders to develop and review policies and frameworks relating to conduct and discipline to ensure the integrity and trust in the Public Service is being upheld.
- Run discipline cases and ensure the cases are managed fairly and objectively.
- Design, review and drive SID’s crisis management framework, crisis and contingency management to ensure SID’s operational readiness and resilience during crisis.
In a senior role, responsibilities include:
- Provide technical and strategic leadership for a team.
- Design and implement workplace processes, with future trends and needs in mind.
- Plan and guide your team’s professional growth, in both general and technical areas.
- Build good relations and workflows with internal and external stakeholders.
