Job summary

A childcare center in Singapore is looking for a hands-on HR Manager to take full ownership of the HR function. This role involves strategizing manpower planning, managing recruitment, ensuring accurate payroll, and overseeing employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in HRM, at least 2 years of relevant experience in the Early Childhood Industry, and sound knowledge of Singapore Labour Laws. Job description

We are seeking a hands‑on HR Manager / Assistant HR Manager for a standalone HR role with full ownership of the HR function. Reporting directly to the Directors, the position involves managing the complete employee lifecycle and overseeing all day‑to‑day HR operations to support the business.

Job Description
  • Strategize and oversee manpower planning. Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing and extending offers.
  • Manage the onboarding of new staff.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing, CPF submission & HR reporting.
  • Oversee employee relations matters and advise business unit head in the management of employee relations and other HR‑related matters.
  • Administer yearly appraisal and compensation proposal.
  • Review, enhance and implement HR policies, procedures and systems in line with the Company’s business strategies and growth.
  • Perform training administration tasks including registration of courses, coordinating of training courses, updating of training data, etc.
  • Perform work pass administration.
  • Work with related government bodies and institutions to obtain grants for HR related projects.
  • Administer employee’s work injury related matters and employee medical insurance claims.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee data in their p‑files and HR system.
  • Ensure legal compliance in both HR regulations and employment law.
  • Handle all other HR matters and administration tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in HRM or other relevant qualification.
  • At least 2 years of relevant HR experience preferably in the Early Childhood Industry.
  • Sound knowledge of Singapore Labour Laws, Employment Act and MOM procedures.
  • Uphold integrity and maintain high degree of professionalism.
  • Able to work in a fast paced & dynamic environment.
  • Working knowledge of Timesoft HRIS including payroll processing.
