Job Description

We are seeking for a motivated and self-disciplined incumbent to join us as a HR Associate to accomplish efficiency on HR operational activities and walk through employee’s lifecycle as a team player in the HR department. The successful incumbent will have the opportunity to attain the next level of career development at the position of managerial level.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Computer and payroll system, IRAS, IR21, WICA, Security bond, Insurance Premiums.
  • WPOL, EPOL, myMOMportal and MOM related issues.
  • Uphold safety rules and review of safety breaches of workers.
  • Attend to and manage worker needs, complains, feedback on a daily basis whenever neccessary.
  • Handle the application of training grants and liaise with training vendors for external training programs
  • Conduct periodic reviews and assist in the enhancement of HR Policies & Procedures / SOP to ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • Assist in the driving/implementation of new HR initiatives
  • Preparation of HR Management Reports
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR related jobs
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 years of HR/ Admin experience
  • Good knowledgable and understanding in the laws of Ministry of Manpower Singapore, which include the laws to hiring and termination of employee's contract, compensation and penalties, TADM, Employee Claim Tribunals.
  • Knowledgable in safety standards that workers have to comply when working at site or factories
  • Knowledgable about the different training courses that workers and staff have to undergo before able to be tasked and assigned to a specific job, (For example, what an individual must hold to be able to be an RA leader?)
  • Capable in solving and managing worker's day to day issue, complaints and awareness raised.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel and Drafting of Letters.
  • Good team player with the ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Knowledge of InfoTech will be advantageous.
  • Good writing and communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of people.
  • Responsible and meticulous with an eye for details.
