Job Description

As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide both strategic and tactical advisory to business leaders in the people and organisation development strategies to support their business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of HR services and solutions to several units within FairPrice Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner business leaders, function heads and line managers to provide advisory on all people related agenda.
  • Work with key stakeholders in workforce management to identify and develop plans on current and future state staffing and / or skill needs.
  • Analyse trends and metrics to uncover critical insights relating to identify and prioritise solutions on talent acquisition, development and retention
  • Work closely with management and employees to build a high performing culture and positive employee experiences.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Provide day-to-day coaching to leadership team, people managers and all employees
  • Work with internal partners to Identify training needs for teams and individuals to support the business agenda
  • Participate in projects in the HR transformation journey, where required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HR. Experience in business partner / advisory will be an advantage
  • Good working knowledge of employment law and regulations, where appropriate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate in an organizationally savvy manner to analyse data and discern organisational level needs and trends
  • Is a self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced environment against tight timelines with a team mindset
