Job description

Position: HR Assistant (5 Months Contract – Maternity Cover)

Salary: $2500

Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:15pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Chin Bee Road, Jurong

Job Scope:

The HR Assistant will play a key role in supporting HR operations and manpower administration, including but not limited to:

  • Liaising with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, preparing job advertisements, and coordinating with recruitment agencies for manpower requirements
  • Managing foreign worker work pass matters, including applications, renewals, cancellations, security bond purchases, and repatriation arrangements
  • Updating Ministry of Manpower records for changes in foreign worker particulars such as address or marital status
  • Preparing employee-related documentation such as appointment letters, confirmations, transfers, and resignation acceptances
  • Handling group health insurance and workmen compensation claims
  • Maintaining monthly attendance and overtime records
  • Coordinating the onboarding process including medical examinations, employment contracts, and orientation programs
  • Conducting exit interviews and managing clearance procedures for departing employees
  • Maintaining and updating employee records in Prosoft
  • Assisting in the arrangement of external training courses and keeping training records up to date
  • Supporting other HR functions and performing additional administrative duties as required

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with MOM work pass processes
  • 1–2 years’ relevant HR experience
