Job summary

A Singapore-based HR consulting firm is seeking an HR Assistant to manage payroll, employee records, and onboarding processes. The role requires a minimum diploma and at least one year of HR experience. Proficiency in Microsoft applications and a good understanding of HR regulations are preferred. Immediate availability is advantageous. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to contribute to various HR functions and company activities.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of relevant HR experience.
  • Good knowledge of HR practices and regulations is a plus.

  • Handle worker payroll and prepare related reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of worker attendance.
  • Handle work permit applications and medical arrangements.
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes.

Job description
Job Responsibilities
  • Handle worker payroll and prepare payroll-related reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of worker attendance, annual leave, medical leave and medical claims.
  • Handle work permit application / renewal / cancellation and medical check-up arrangement.
  • Update and maintain documentation for new hires and departures in the HR system and personnel files (P-files).
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding for worker level.
  • Perform data entry and filing of HR-related documents, and keep worker records up to date.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of company events and activities.
  • Perform other ad-hoc HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Min. Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience in an HR assistant or HR role.
  • Good knowledge of Employment Act and HR practices and regulations or experience in the related field will have an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications and HR software.
  • Able to commence work immediately or within short notice will be an added advantage.
