Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of landscape crews in the development, planning and maintenance of the landscapes within the golf courses and clubhouse.
  • Conduct arboriculture visual trees assessment.
  • Liaise and coordinate with arboriculture contractors to carry out the necessary works.
  • Conduct periodic landscape crew briefings.
  • Implement changes to the plants according to the landscape improvement plans.
  • Design improvement works and provide planting plan and bill of quantities.
  • Plan treatments for plants such as the application of insecticide and fertilizer.
  • Plan and control budgets and expenses.
  • Prepare tender documents and conduct tender interviews.
  • Assess and evaluate tender submissions.
  • Conduct daily inspection on landscaping maintenance and improvement works.
  • Ensure all work carried out are in accordance to the workplace health safety requirements.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
  • A recognized Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Horticulture / Landscape Management or related discipline. ISA certified Arborist would be advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of strong technical working knowledge in horticulture with hands-on experience.
