Job description

Work Location: St Andrew's Migrant Worker Medical Centre, 27 Penjuru Walk, Singapore 608583

Job Description
  1. Perform frontline duties, greet and register patients.
  2. Assist in coordinating and controlling the flow of patients.
  3. Triage the patients upon their arrival, measuring their vital signs and directing them to appropriate clinical zones.
  4. Maintain medical records of patients.
  5. Assist doctors and nurses for various patients' medical needs, such as collecting medications and preparing for wound dressing.
  6. Oversee processes and keeping records of billing and payment.
  7. Assist in maintaining the medical centre’s various stocks and supplies.
  8. Address the questions that any patient might have with regards to the medical centre’s operations and workflows.
  9. Liaise with the Penjuru Recreation Centre’s managing agents with regards to security and maintenance of the medical centre.
  10. Assist in executing preventive health programmes and lessons for the migrant worker population
  11. Assist in any other administrative tasks that other staff may need help with.
Requirements
  1. GCE “N” levels
  2. Matured and have an aptitude for frontline work.
  3. Ability to politely greet, direct and control visitors or crowds.
  4. Ability to perform administrative tasks such as registering, billing, data entry, navigating simple computer software and keeping records.
  5. Ability to use basic equipment for health screening.
  6. Ability to work and think creatively.
  7. Fluent in spoken and written English. A good command of Mandarin, Tamil and Bengali will be welcomed.
