Job summary

A leading multinational company in Singapore is looking for a financial professional to consolidate the accounts and budgets of its APAC subsidiaries. The role involves producing reports for upper management, training staff on financial tools, and performing ad-hoc analyses. Candidates should have an accounting qualification, 5+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills in English are necessary, and familiarity with SAP and inVision is advantageous. The position values proactivity and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Job description
KEY PURPOSE

To consolidate the accounts, forecasts and budgets of VINCI Energies companies in the APAC region. Currently, VINCI Energies Asia Pacific manages companies in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand, with a turnover of more than 650 M EUR, over 45 business units and over 20 legal entities. This is subject to changes.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Consolidate monthly, quarterly and annual accounts of the subsidiaries of the region including consistency and accuracy controls and produce consolidated reports for the CEO and the CFO of the region. Analyze variances with budgets and forecasts
  • Support and train financial experts throughout the region on group financial software, tools and accounting rules
  • Ad-hoc analysis for the CFO and CEO of the region
  • Assist integration in newly acquired companies
  • Assist the BUs with their internal control campaign and prepare the internal control report for the pole
  • Point of contact for the Audit of the holding companies

The responsibilities and tasks of the position are not limited to the abovementioned and change might occur in concert with direct Manager.

Knowledge and experience:

Accounting qualification (ACCA and above) or business school degree with minimum 5 years in a similar capacity preferably with a MNC public-listed in its home country. Candidates with longer experience may be also considered.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • SAP experience a plus not a must. Experience inVision (Magnitude) is a must
  • Excellent command of English. To communicate with Paris Head Office in this job, French is optional
  • To be successful in this role, you need to be able to work independently as your direct supervisor is a frequent traveler, and enjoy working in a small team
