A leading financial services provider in Singapore seeks a Head of IT Business Analysts and Testing to lead a team responsible for improving technology solutions and ensuring quality delivery. This role requires strong problem management, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science, along with technical expertise in software development and test automation. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, emphasizing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Singapore IT Business Analysts and Testing team focuses on ensuring business requirements are accurately captured and “translated” into solutions. The IT Business Analysts would carefully analyze business needs, before assessing and suggesting how the technology/systems can be better developed or enhanced to meet business needs. They would also provide required support to business and delivery team from prioritization all the way to implementation. The testing team work together with stakeholders to ensure adequate quality according to agreed scopes adopting best practices.
The position of Head of IT Business Analysts and Testing reports to CIO. He/she provides leaderships and directions to the team in executing all deliveries and initiatives in collaboration with the other HODs (Head of Departments), SLT (Senior Leadership Team) and agile delivery teams. He/she also drives effectiveness, increases capabilities, and increases profitability of the overall team, at the same time serve as the go-to person for all escalations, risks and issues that the team encounters.
