About the Role

Reporting directly to the Group Chief People Officer in another region, with a dual line into the Head of APAC (MD/Global ExCo member) based in regional headquarters, this individual will play a critical role in shaping and leading the people strategy, people priorities and growth and transformation journey end-to-end, leading a relatively sizeable team across a number of APAC markets.

The group operates within a fast-paced global matrix structure, and as a result, this individual will be comfortable, leading the region, partnering with global HR COE’s in HQ, aligning with EMEA and Americas from a “one global business” and “one global HR team” perspective. This individual must be comfortable leading experienced Heads of HR and / or BP Leads in country, within a high growth and acquisition environment, being able to balance the strategic and commercial priorities of the role, with the ability to be hands on and navigate ambiguity within a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

A core focus of the role will be to embed global HR priorities across the region, leading projects around M&A end-to-end, job architecture programmes, organization design, leadership succession planning, while also managing annual HR processes and matters such as employee relations as well as working directly with regulators across the region.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a track record operating as a Head of HR APAC in large global high growth complex matrix financial services organisations supporting front office client groups directly. The individual will have proven expertise partnering global and regional leadership directly, leading an accomplished team across a number of regulated APAC markets in a strategic and hands on role, with high growth and change cultures.
