Job description

Our Finance function supports colleagues across WTW as well as clients, shareholders, financial institutions, vendors and regulators worldwide. This leadership role sits within Business Finance and is accountable for Finance across Asia and the Pacific—including accounting and controllership, regional leadership support, performance management, reporting and analysis, operating processes, controls and policy implementation, and business transformation. You’ll be a key Finance business partner to leaders of our Corporate Risk & Broking business across both regions.

This role can be based in Sydney or Singapore.

The Role
  • Act as a strategic finance business partner to regional leadership—turning insights from financial data and trends into decisions that deliver superior performance for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively surface performance issues and help leadership resolve them; contribute to long‑term strategy that drives sustainable results.
  • Build and lead a high‑performing team with a strong client‑service culture; deliver value‑adding reporting and analysis to segment leadership.
  • Partner across Corporate Finance, Segments, Geographies and Corporate Functions to foster collaboration and share best practices.
  • Work seamlessly with Segment FP&A to represent the regional perspective in global performance measures and planning.
  • Own a robust internal control environment and financial close process for the region(s).
  • Lead monthly and quarterly close and financial reviews across controllership and FP&A for regional and country teams.
  • Consolidate financial risks and opportunities across Asia & Pacific and report them to finance and business leadership; focus on client revenue and profitability and cash.
  • Lead Finance input to strategic initiatives impacting the region.
The Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience); CPA/ACA/ACCA preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and budgeting; exposure to both strategic and operational analysis.
  • Strong systems and data acumen; able to guide teams to synthesize data into operational recommendations.
  • Progressive financial leadership with deep commercial understanding of portfolio financial drivers.
  • Controllership expertise with the ability to provide strategic counsel and drive enhanced process execution.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive change, develop talent and maintain positive morale under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills; strong influencing capability in collaborative environments.
