About Peak Energy

Peak Energy is a leading clean energy platform dedicated to developing, financing, building, and operating utility-scale solar, rooftop generation, onshore wind, and battery storage solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. As a fast-growing scale‑up, we combine world‑class technical expertise with entrepreneurial agility, drawing on the experience of industry leaders from TotalEnergies, Vestas, Cleantech Energy, and other top players.

With over 300 MW of operating assets and 1.5 GW of projects in development across Japan, Korea, Australia, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia, we are greenfield developers at heart. At the same time, we partner flexibly with industrials, developers, and investors to accelerate delivery and scale impact.

Our approach blends the customer focus of a developer, the technical expertise of an EPC, and the financial strength of a global institution—enabling clients to meet decarbonization targets on time, on budget, and without risk of delivery failure.

Peak Energy is wholly owned by Stonepeak, one of the world’s largest alternative investment firms specializing in infrastructure and real assets, with over USD 76 billion in assets under management. This financial strength, combined with our deep local market relationships, allows us to optimize capital deployment into high‑quality assets.

Our clients can expect clean energy solutions delivered on time, on budget, and at scale—with no surprises. Let’s partner together to accelerate your sustainability journey.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for project‑level identification of environmental, social, and physical climate risks and development of mitigation measures; as well as to analyse and transform climate, nature/biodiversity related data into actionable insights and initiatives.

In addition, the role will focus on the practical delivery of fit‑for‑purpose policies and governance procedures — from board‑level delegations to cross‑functional operating policies — with consistency, traceability, and clarity. • Prepare the organization for investor/lender due diligence and certification assessments by ensuring required policies and controls are in place
Asset Level Environmental and Social Risk Assessment and implementation
  • Assess environmental, social, and climate‑related risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to support investment decisions during development and towards financial close
  • Support in the development of methodologies to assess risks, vulnerabilities and impacts, as well as mitigation and adaptation measures during asset construction and operation phases
  • Participate in due diligence reviews of investment papers and project documentation
  • Support internal teams in meeting environmental and social requirements and developing related policies and guidelines
  • Oversee the collection, monitoring and reporting of environmental, social, physical hazards and biodiversity data across Peak’s operations
  • Contribute to digitalisation initiatives on process improvement

Conduct review and documentation of environmental and social action plans at the regional and project level.

  • Coordinate policy awareness and implementation across business units and countries, ensuring alignment throughout the Peak Energy organization
  • Identify and evaluate physical climate risks and impact across global operations
  • Keep up‑to‑date with the latest research, technologies and best practices in the field of climate science, physical risk and resource availability
