Job description

We are partnering with a leading asset management firm to hire a Head of Data & AI Monetization to build and drive the commercial strategy for leveraging proprietary data, analytics, and AI capabilities. This is a newly created leadership role that will shape how the organisation transforms its data assets into revenue-generating products, decision-support tools, and market intelligence solutions across its investment and portfolio platforms.

Role

You will define and execute the end-to-end strategy for data and AI monetization, developing scalable products and analytical capabilities that support investment research, portfolio construction, distribution, and external commercial opportunities. Working closely with senior investment leaders, data teams, and technology stakeholders, you will identify high-value use cases, architect data products, and deliver AI-driven insights that enhance competitiveness and operational performance. You will also lead initiatives across data governance, model development, and platform enablement, ensuring that data quality, architecture, and lifecycle processes support both internal decision-making and external monetization pathways.

Requirement

You are degree-qualified, ideally in Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience spanning data strategy, analytics, AI/ML product development, or commercialization within asset management, investment firms, or broader financial services. You have a strong track record of creating and scaling data or AI-driven products, preferably in public or private markets, quantitative research, or institutional investment environments. You bring deep familiarity with modern data platforms, machine learning workflows, and AI enablement technologies, with the ability to translate analytical insights into commercial and strategic value. A strong understanding of investment processes, portfolio analytics, risk management, and client reporting is highly regarded. You are a strategic operator with strong stakeholder management skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams and driving enterprise-wide adoption of data-centric capabilities.
