Job summary

A multinational organization in Singapore is looking for an experienced Head of Accounting to oversee all accounting matters. This role involves managing a team, ensuring compliance with statutory and Group requirements, and improving operational processes. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in accounting, strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations, and a proven track record in leadership within complex organizations, particularly in manufacturing or Oil & Gas. This is a key role requiring strong communication and technology skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional accounting experience.
• Experience in complex, matrixed organizations, preferably in manufacturing or Oil & Gas.
• Proven ability to lead and coach a team of accountants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Lead and coach a team to enhance performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and Group standards.
• Drive efficiency of accounting processes.
• Support tax filing responsibilities including GST.
• Prepare for and facilitate audits.
