About the Role As the Global Head of Risk Prevention for Trust & Safety, your goal is to drive impact across all markets and regions. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team of program managers focused on protecting market safety, planning and managing high-risk events, and being the key point of contact for all internal teams and company leaders to provide a consolidated and comprehensive T&S response to global and regional risks.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in people management (management of managers), business management, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on building a strong organization, streamlining cross-functional communication, and influencing diverse senior stakeholders to align on strategic priorities.
You will act as a people manager, a consensus creator, and a strategic thought partner for the TikTok Trust & Safety team and global stakeholders. You will use your exemplary strategic, organizational, and interpersonal skills to prioritize and manage multiple programs in a manner that is both efficient and aligned with the organizational strategy. You will also help maintain clear, persuasive, and timely communications across global offices and functional teams including Policy, Product, Data, Operations, Risk Response, Public Policy, Comms, and Legal. Your ability to negotiate outcomes, influence decision-making, and build lasting relationships will be key to success in this role.

Content that this role interacts with includes images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals. Hence, it is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content on a daily basis.
