A growing furniture brand in Singapore is seeking a team player to provide exceptional customer service and effectively promote products. The candidate will actively engage customers, recommend suitable products, and assist in achieving sales targets of at least $75,000 monthly. Applicants should possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and retail experience, while being able to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Candidate Role

Provide customers with good service and soft sell effectively.

Job Scope
  • Actively seek out customers, to greet and thank warmly every walk-in customer.
  • Provide pleasant, professional product advice to customer without hard selling.
  • Identify needs to recommend appropriate products and promote product features.
  • Tabulate customers preferences, questions and competitor’s product, pricing and promo.
  • Provide follow up on customer’s enquiries, deliveries, issues and payment matters.
  • Design & update product price tags and promotion materials on displayed products.
  • Ensure products are well displayed and maintain store cleanliness.
  • Make presentation videos for sales and promotion of products.
  • Participate in ad hoc duties being assigned and sometimes cover different branches.
Job Requirements
  • Consistent able to achieve average of $75,000 monthly sales and above.
  • Able to focus multiple walk-ins to close key products, cross sell bundles and add-ons.
  • Able work 5/6 alternating days a week, compulsory on weekends.
  • Work 8 hours with 1 hour meal break for standard shift or extended shift occasionally.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Strong communications, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, enthusiastic and pro-active personality.
  • Interest to read up relevant product background and build knowledge to be able to give correct advice to customers.
  • Minimum higher secondary, ‘N/O’ level certification or 1 Year retail sales experience.
  • Competent in MS Office and able to use / learn Brochure Design Tools is a plus.
  • Keen in Home Furnishing & Decoration knowledge is advantageous.
