Job summary

A luxury hotel chain in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Front Office Supervisor to assist the Front Office Manager with training employees and ensuring service standards are met. Responsibilities include supervising staff activities, managing room assignments, and overseeing guest services to maintain high-quality experiences. Candidates should be well-organized, proactive, and possess strong leadership skills. This role requires regular coordination with various departments and participation in management meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in setting up training tools and procedures.
  • Select, hire, and train employees to meet service standards.
  • Supervise, organize, and coordinate the staff and activities of the Front Office.
  • Ensure Front Office Employees perform their duties according to standards.
  • Assign rooms for all arrivals and train Guest Relations Executives.
  • Maintain consistency in service throughout the guest's stay.
  • Plan and prepare work schedules for Duty Manager and Front Desk personnel.
  • Authorize the acceptance of various forms of payments.
  • Monitor guest credit status and follow up on pending payments.
  • Coordinate with security for investigations of irregularities.
  • Control rooms’ situation regarding reservations and occupancy.
  • Attend department heads meetings as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to Accounting Standards and Procedures.
  • Train staff for emergency situations.
  • Inspect preparations for VIP guests.
  • Keep updated with new standards and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
