Job Description

We are seeking experienced and passionate IBDP Physics tutors to join our team on a freelance or part-time basis. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the IBDP Physics curriculum, strong familiarity with Singapore‑based IB schools (e.g., ACSI, SJI, SOTA), and a proven track record of guiding students toward excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality 1‑to‑1 or small group lessons for IBDP Physics (SL/HL)
  • Provide targeted support for exam revision, IAs and Exended Essays
  • Guide students in understanding key concepts
  • Mark and review students’ essays, class practice, and other internal assessments
  • Adapt teaching approach based on student needs and school‑specific syllabus pacing
  • Help students understand and apply IB exam rubrics and criteria
  • Track student progress and provide feedback to parents if required
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of IBDP Physics teaching/tutoring experience
  • Familiar with syllabi taught at schools like ACSI, SJI, SOTA, etc.
  • In‑depth knowledge of IB assessment rubrics and frameworks
  • Proven success in helping students achieve Level 6–7 grades
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Responsible, responsive, and able to commit consistently
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Education, or relevant fields preferred
Preferred
  • MOE‑trained or IB‑certified teachers highly valued
  • Familiarity with IAs and EE in local IB schools
