Job summary

A local meat processing company based in Singapore is seeking a dedicated individual to prepare and pack high-quality cuts of meat. Responsibilities include operating meat processing equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to company standards and safety requirements. The ideal candidate should be able to lift heavy items, work standing for long periods, and tolerate cold conditions. Experience in food safety and GMP practices is a plus.

Job Description

Prepare and pack high-quality cuts of meat according to customer specifications using company standards and adhering to all safety requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Operation of Meat Processing Equipment
  • Pack, trim, and customize portions of meat products using knives or other meat production equipment.
  • Count and stack portions on trays per customer and company specifications.
  • Label portions with supplied product labels.
  • Set up the packing and labeling area as required.
  • Perform end‑of‑day functions.
  • Actively maintain and merchandise the partial cart.
  • Keep the packing area, cutting room, and surrounding area clean and sanitized.
  • Follow the company GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain sanitary conditions.
  • Work rotating shift.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 30 lbs regularly, including overhead lifting, and up to 60 lbs occasionally. Push/pull up to 40 lbs regularly.
  • Meet established volume/activity standards.
  • Stand or walk 100% of the time.
  • Frequent reaching, grasping, and lifting individual stock items below waist level or above shoulder level.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Able to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning materials, packaging materials, and food products.
  • Tolerant of working in freezing temperatures –18 °C – 10 °C.
  • Ability to use computers, calculators, and communication systems to perform the job functions.
