A facilities management company in Singapore seeks an experienced Facilities Manager. The role involves overseeing daily operations, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational guidelines. The ideal candidate holds a relevant diploma, possesses facilities management experience (3 years preferred), and has skills in managing tenant relations, particularly within F&B contexts. Strong knowledge of M&E systems is advantageous, and exposure to safety compliance is essential.
Oversee daily facilities operations across campus buildings, classrooms, laboratories, offices, common areas, and F&B outlets.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E systems, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building services supporting F&B operations.
Attend to breakdowns, emergencies, and ad-hoc facilities issues promptly to minimise disruption to campus and tenant operations.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure facilities are safe, clean, and operational.
Act as the main point of contact for F&B tenants on facilities-related matters.
Coordinate with F&B tenants on maintenance works, repairs, and access requirements.
Ensure tenants comply with lease terms, campus guidelines, and operational requirements.
Monitor tenant fit-out works, reinstatement works, and minor renovations to ensure compliance with approved drawings and safety standards.
Ensure F&B tenants comply with relevant regulations such as food hygiene, fire safety, workplace safety, and environmental health requirements.
Coordinate inspections with authorities and support audits related to SCDF, NEA, BCA, and MOM where applicable.
Follow up on non-compliances and ensure timely rectification by tenants or contractors.
Manage and supervise contractors and service providers for hard and soft FM services, including those supporting F&B outlets.
Ensure contractors adhere to safety procedures, permit-to-work requirements, and campus regulations.
Verify work quality, endorse service reports, and assist in invoice verification.
Diploma in Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
Facilities-related certifications (e.g. FSM, FMP) are advantageous.
3 years of facilities management or building operations experience, preferably in campus, commercial, retail, or mixed-use environments.
Exposure to F&B tenant coordination, food court, or retail facilities management is an advantage.
Experience with ACMV and M&E systems supporting F&B operations is preferred.
