Job summary

A leading fire safety services provider in Singapore is seeking a Fire Safety Manager to oversee compliance with fire safety regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing and updating emergency response plans, conducting fire drills, and ensuring monthly safety inspections are performed. Candidates must hold SCDF certification and have previous experience managing fire safety in similar facilities. The role requires strong skills in risk assessment, emergency preparedness, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Ability to meet stipulated response time and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review/update Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
  • Conduct 2 fire drills/year + 2 table-top exercises/year.
  • Monthly fire safety inspection with reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • Review/update Emergency Response Plan (ERP)
  • Advise on fire safety compliance
  • Fulfill duties per Fire Safety Manager Regulations
Fire Drills & Exercises
  • Conduct 2 fire drills/year + 2 table‑top exercises/year
  • Coordinate with staff, providers, vendors
  • Submit post-exercise reports
Inspections & Reporting
  • Monthly fire safety inspection
  • Check fire systems, escape routes, readiness
  • Submit monthly reports + Annual Fire Safety Report online
Compliance & Support
  • Monitor compliance with SCDF requirements
  • Emergency response support (1-hour response time)
  • Emergency activations charged separately
