Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is looking for a Fire & Hydraulics Engineer to deliver high-quality consulting services. You will play a key role in design, mentoring, and project development within a collaborative team. The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering qualification and 5–6 years of experience in consulting, along with strong technical knowledge in hydraulic systems and fire protection. The Opportunity
  • Deliver detailed hydraulic and fire protection designs across various building and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide expert technical input and ensure high-quality design outcomes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing and skill development within the team.
  • Prepare client-facing reports, tenders, and presentations with clear, strategic insights.
  • Collaborate across teams and regions to support Arup’s integrated approach to engineering excellence.

Is this role right for you?
  • A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 5–6 years of consulting experience.
  • Strong technical understanding of hydraulic and fire systems, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Chartered or professionally qualified in a relevant discipline.
  • A proactive approach to mentoring, team development, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and project coordination skills under pressure.
