Job summary

A retail management firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Boutique Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and drive sales. You will lead and develop a high-performing sales team while ensuring exceptional customer experiences in a luxury environment. The ideal candidate should have a diploma or degree in retail or marketing, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial role in luxury retail. A strong understanding of jewellery or gemmology would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Boutique Operations & Sales
  • Oversee daily boutique operations, administration, and store standards
  • Drive monthly and seasonal sales targets through effective leadership and client engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP and key clients through CRM and clienteling
  • Deliver personalised shopping and styling experiences
  • Manage stock levels, replenishment, and inventory accuracy
  • Plan and execute in-store events, promotions, and displays
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and analyse sales performance reports
  • Ensure after-sales service standards and customer satisfaction are consistently met
  • Work closely with head office, marketing, and corporate teams
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to deliver excellent service
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members
  • Conduct regular appraisals, training sessions, and sales meetings
  • Foster a professional, customer-centric, and high-performance culture
  • Ensure timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Retail, Sales & Marketing, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 of retail experience in a managerial role, preferably within luxury, fine jewellery, or hospitality
  • Strong understanding of luxury service standards and customer expectations
  • Knowledge of jewellery, gemstones, or gemmology is an advantage (Gemmological certification is a plus)
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Strong organisational and communication abilities
  • Passionate about jewellery, design, and customer experience
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment
