Qualifications

  • Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm
Job Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute financial strategies that support long-term growth and manufacturing objectives.
  • Lead APAC budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning across production, supplychain, and operational cost areas.
  • Provide actionable insights to support data-driven and cost-effective decision-making.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate management reporting, statutory accounts, and consolidated financial statements.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and manufacturing-related requirements.
  • Lead external and internal audits, strengthen internal controls, and ensure adherence to financial and operational policies.

Cash Flow, CAPEX & Risk Management

  • Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and capital expenditure across manufacturing sites.
  • Optimize inventory, production, and procurement financing to enhance working capital efficiency.
  • Identify key financial and operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Operational Finance & Business Partnering

  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, production, quality, sales, and engineering teams to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Lead cost accounting, variance analysis, production cost optimization, and margin-improvement initiatives.
  • Provide financial guidance on pricing, product mix, inventory management, and production planning.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional finance team.
  • Oversee Finance, HR, and IT support functions, including ERP systems, digital initiatives, and cybersecurity considerations.
  • Communicate financial performance, operational KPIs, and strategic priorities to the CEO, Regional GM, Board, and investors.

Strategic Initiatives & Investor Relations

  • Support fundraising activities, investor engagement, and IPO preparation, including financial modeling and governance frameworks.
  • Evaluate and execute strategic initiatives such as manufacturing expansions, M&A opportunities, and joint ventures.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CPA/ACCA preferred.
  • 15+ years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior or regional leadership roles.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is required.
  • Multi-country APAC experience, ideally in complex or regulated environments.
  • Strong expertise in cost accounting, production finance, CAPEX planning, supply chain finance, and operational performance.
  • Experience overseeing Finance, HR, and IT functions across multiple locations.
  • Track record in fundraising, investor relations, and IPO readiness is a plus; M&A experience is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel (APAC)
