Roles & Responsibilities

• Financial Management and Oversight: Lead the team overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including budget control, revenue collection, financial reporting, and annual budgeting and forecasting, while providing financial insights and reports to support strategic decision‑making by senior management.

• Grant and Fund Management: Guide stakeholders across the grant lifecycle to ensure financial sustainability, effective fund utilisation, and compliance, while supporting research activities and facilitating smooth audit processes.

• Governance, Controls and Compliance: Ensure timely compliance with tax filing requirements, conduct Risk Control Matrix testing, and oversee the annual fixed assets verification exercise.

• Process Improvement: Drive operational efficiency through automation and RPA initiatives, streamlining financial processes and establishing clear, scalable guidelines.

• Leadership: Guide and align the team to achieve KPIs and personal development goals, identify talent gaps, provide mentorship, and ensure effective adoption of new initiatives.

Key Requirements

• Accounting Degree/ACCA or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience

• Prior experience in grant & fund management - budgets, regulations of funding agencies and financial compliance requirements will be an advantage

• Prior experience supporting finance transformation / automation / process improvement a definite advantage

• Good communication, stakeholder and people management skills

• Proficiency in using the SAP accounting system and MS Office
