A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking a Finance Manager to manage day-to-day accounting processes and oversee financial operations. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a strong understanding of Thai financial regulations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, leading budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with tax laws. This role is suitable for a self-driven individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Establish and manage day-to-day accounting processes, including accounts payable, account receivable, payroll, and month-end closing.
Maintaining full sets of accounts, including the preparation of financial statements and monthly management accounts with variance analysis, withholding tax payment and monthly VAT filings.
Implement financial systems, processes, and internal controls.
Lead the annual budgeting process in coordination with Department Heads, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support growth initiatives.
Track budget performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
Oversees all tax matters, including VAT, withholding tax (WHT), and corporate income tax, to ensure compliance with Thai accounting standards and local tax laws.
Oversee fee collection, billing cycles, refunds, and reconciliation.
Oversee vendor payments, contracts, and procurement cost control.
Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions and business planning.
All other ad hoc duties assigned.
Degree in Finance or Accounting, ACCA or its equivalent from accredited institutions.
Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance or accounting; previous startup or scale-up experience is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of the financial operations and reporting requirements in Thailand.
Open minded and a strong team player.
Experience managing financial operations in growing or early-stage companies.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
