1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans

  • Analyse financial performance vs budget and prior periods

  • Provide management with insights on profitability, cost control, and cash flow

2. Financial Reporting & Management Accounts
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial closing

  • Present financial results and variance analysis to management

3. Accounting & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements

  • Manage audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions

  • Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies

4. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity

  • Manage bank relationships, facilities, and funding arrangements

  • Oversee AR/AP, collections, and payment controls

5. Cost Control & Profitability Management
  • Monitor operating expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives

  • Review pricing, margins, and project profitability

  • Support business units with cost analysis and financial discipline

6. Taxation & Statutory Matters
  • Oversee corporate tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax, and statutory filings

  • Liaise with tax agents and authorities

  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and deadlines

7. Systems, Processes & Controls
  • Improve finance processes, workflows, and internal controls

  • Manage accounting systems, ERP, and reporting tools

  • Drive automation and process efficiency where possible

8. Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team

  • Set KPIs and performance expectations

  • Ensure succession planning and skills development

9. Business Partnering & Decision Support
  • Act as a finance business partner to operations and management

  • Support strategic decisions (investment, expansion, pricing, hiring)

  • Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis

10. Stakeholder & Management Support
  • Work closely with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and external parties

  • Support senior management and board reporting

  • Ensure financial transparency and governance
