Job description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and compliance for our Singapore subsidiary. This role is critical in ensuring financial integrity, supporting strategic decision-making, and building robust financial systems to support rapid growth across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic finance business partner, providing financial analysis, modelling, and decision support aligned with business objectives.
• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long‑term financial planning, tracking performance against plans.
• Analyse financial and business performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and improvement areas, and present actionable insights to management.
• Manage end‑to‑end financial operations including General Ledger, AR/AP, cash management, payroll, taxation, and treasury activities.
• Establish, enhance, and maintain internal controls and financial processes to improve efficiency and safeguard company assets.
• Oversee cash flow planning and foreign exchange exposure to optimise capital utilisation.
• Ensure full compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), statutory requirements, and internal group policies.
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Lead statutory audits, tax audits, and regulatory filings, including GST and corporate income tax.
• Manage and develop the local finance team, reporting to the regional or headquarters finance function.
• Collaborate closely with headquarters and cross‑functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to support business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Chartered Accountant (CA Singapore) or equivalent qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.).
• Minimum 8 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years independently managing full finance operations for a subsidiary or business unit.
• Strong working knowledge of SFRS, IFRS, Singapore company law and tax regulations, with hands‑on GST experience.
• Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle NetSuite … .. .. .. .. … .… .. l… ... ... ...…  …  ?;??PU).
• Strong English and Mandarin communication skills to liaise with Chinese‑speaking stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership, people management, and problem‑solving capabilities.
