Job summary

A leading audio technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with local standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting within a multinational environment, possess strong knowledge of Singapore accounting and statutory requirements, and demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This role also requires strong communication abilities to present financial information to various stakeholders.

Job description
Overview

As a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing accounting operations in Singapore office. You will lead the accounting function through strong technical accounting expertise, provide tactical accounting guidance, driving process improvements and working collaboratively with stakeholders locally, regionally and across HQ.

You will report to the Head of Operations & Finance, APAC and you are required to have strong understanding of Singapore accounting and statutory requirements, sound problem-solving capability and confidence working in a matrix organisation with shared service centres.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and variance analysis.
  • Ensure full compliance with local accounting standards and regulations (SFRS), aligned internal group guidelines (including German GAAP where applicable)
  • Identify, explain, and resolve differences between local and group accounting requirements
  • Coordinate statutory audits and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors
  • Well-versed in AP, AR, and GL operations; ensure strong controls and audit readiness.
  • Lead and oversee local finance activities in close partnership with shared service centres, ensuring effective transition of transactional processes
  • Partner with sales, operations, and supply chain to align financial goals with business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ISCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of professional accounting experience ideally within multinational environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, statutory reporting, and tax requirements
  • Structured, detail-oriented execution style with strong analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Clear communicator with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
