Job summary

A charitable organization in Singapore is seeking a Finance Executive to manage finance functions including purchase requisitions and invoices. The ideal candidate should have a diploma in accounting, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, and strong skills in MS Office. Excellent interpersonal skills are required, and experience in the social service sector is an advantage. Finance Executive

You will be responsible for managing Finance functions which include:

  • Review vendors & staff purchase requisition for compliance to Procurement Policy
  • Manage creation & approval of purchase orders
  • Review invoices & staff claims for compliance to Procurement Policy.
  • Support financial month end closing activities
  • Support ad hoc duties when required

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Meticulous, adaptable and proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
  • Experience in social service sectors will be an added advantage.
  • Able to start work immediately or at short notice
