Job summary

A leading social service agency in Singapore is looking for a Finance Executive on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will handle various financial reports, budgeting, and accounting transactions while assisting the management team with insights necessary for effective planning. A diploma in Accounting or ACCA is required, along with a minimum of three years' experience in relevant fields. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth financial operations within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounting or Administration functions.
  • Good analytical skill required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Provide financial insights for forecasting, planning, and budgeting.
  • Manage applications through the Charity Portal.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting transactions.

Job Title

Finance Executive (Contract)

Reports To

Head of Finance or Executive Director

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
  • Provide financial insights to the management team to support forecasting, planning, and budgeting
  • Plan and coordinate interim budget exercises
  • Manage applications and submissions through the Charity Portal
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting transactions
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Manage and process monthly job timesheets for payroll purpose
  • And any other adhoc duties assigned
Qualifications

Education / Professional Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting or ACCA graduate

Skills / Experiences:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounting, Administration functions
  • Good analytical skill
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting System, CRM, other digital system
