Job summary

A leading accounting services firm in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage the full set of accounts, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the F&B or retail sectors. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Xero are advantageous. Strong attention to detail and independence are essential qualities for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in F&B or retail.
• Good understanding of Singapore accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Independent and resourceful, able to meet deadlines.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with Singapore’s accounting standards and tax regulations (e.g. GST, IRAS filings)
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary
• Maintain proper documentation and internal controls
• Assist in intercompany transactions and consolidation if required
• Support ad hoc matters as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience (F&B or retail industry experience is a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Xero is an advantage
• Good understanding of Singapore accounting standards and tax regulations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Independent, resourceful, and a team player
