Job summary

A logistics service provider in Singapore seeks an experienced accountant with strong financial reporting skills. The successful candidate will handle GL entries, month-end closings, and support financial analyses. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience, with a preference for knowledge of Singapore tax practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and excellent communication skills in English and Chinese are essential. Qualifications

  • 5 years Accounting related work experience in sizable company.
  • Familiar with Singapore tax handling practice, including CIT/TP.
  • Strong knowledge of local Accounting Operations & Practice.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post GL entries.
  • Maintain key schedule and register.
  • Responsible for timely month-end/quarterly/year-end closing.
  • Preparing management reports and financial statements.
  • Support in financial analysis and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post GL entries
  • Maintain key schedule and register
  • Responsible for timely month‑end/quarterly/year‑end closing
  • Preparing monthly/quarterly/year‑end reporting package including intercompany reconciliation
  • Support in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting
  • Preparation of management reports
  • Assist with year‑end auditors and preparation of financial statement
  • Preparation of required report by tax/treasury department
  • To perform other ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned by superior
Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor Degree or above
  • 5 years Accounting related work experience in sizable company
Special Knowledge
  • Background of general accounting/financial reporting experience
  • Familiar with Singapore tax handling practice, including CIT/TP
  • Strong knowledge of local Accounting Operations & Practice
