Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Controller-level finance professional with a strong background in corporate finance and project financing to support our Singapore and Indonesia projects.
This role will be responsible for financial structuring, project funding, financial control, and cross‑border coordination. The position requires frequent travel to Bintan, Indonesia, and close collaboration with regional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Finance & Project Financing
Lead and manage project financing activities for SG and Indonesia projects (including feasibility studies, financial modeling, funding structures).
- Prepare and review financial models, investment proposals, and project cash flow forecasts.
- Work with banks, financial institutions, investors, and advisors on debt financing, refinancing, and funding negotiations.
- Support M&A, joint ventures, or new project evaluations when required.
Financial Control & Reporting
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for regional projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate management reporting and analysis for senior management.
- Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations in Singapore and Indonesia.
Cross-Border & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key finance partner to business, operations, and project teams in SG and Indonesia.
- Liaise with local finance teams, external consultants, auditors, and regulators.
- Support senior management with financial insights for strategic decision‑making.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Strong hands‑on experience in corporate finance and project financing.
- Proven experience working with banks and lenders, and external financiers.
- Prior exposure to Indonesia or Southeast Asia projects is highly preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Solid understanding of cross‑border finance, taxation, and regulatory environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable with frequent travel to Bintan, Indonesia.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written) to communicate with regional and Chinese‑speaking stakeholders.
