Job summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining IT department budgets and forecasts.
  • Track actual expenditures against budgeted amounts and report variances.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for IT leadership.
  • Assist in the analysis of IT project costs and conduct accurate records.
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support budget optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
  • Drive, monitor and report efficiency and cost savings initiatives and outcomes.
  • Support budget allocation requisition processing for IT‑related expenses.
  • Maintain records of IT spends & P&L impact for accurate financial tracking.
  • Coordinate with all IT Application, Group Technology counterparts, Finance & Accounting, Finance Operations, and IT Procurement teams for budget allocations and reconciliations.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in budgeting, finance, or accounting (IT Dept is an advantage).
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint presentations and financial management tools.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills and familiarity with IT CAPEX and IT OPEX principles and terminologies.
  • Working experience in IT Finance Budget Planning and Cost Control function.
  • Experience supporting financial operations in a project‑based or agile IT environment.
  • Experience in identifying cost optimisation areas and driving cost saving targets.
