Finance Analyst (Budgeting) Contract TANGSPAC SEARCH PRIVATE LIMITED•Islandwide, SG
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and maintaining IT department budgets and forecasts.
- Track actual expenditures against budgeted amounts and report variances.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for IT leadership.
- Assist in the analysis of IT project costs and conduct accurate records.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support budget optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
- Drive, monitor and report efficiency and cost savings initiatives and outcomes.
- Support budget allocation requisition processing for IT‑related expenses.
- Maintain records of IT spends & P&L impact for accurate financial tracking.
- Coordinate with all IT Application, Group Technology counterparts, Finance & Accounting, Finance Operations, and IT Procurement teams for budget allocations and reconciliations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in budgeting, finance, or accounting (IT Dept is an advantage).
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint presentations and financial management tools.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills and familiarity with IT CAPEX and IT OPEX principles and terminologies.
- Working experience in IT Finance Budget Planning and Cost Control function.
- Experience supporting financial operations in a project‑based or agile IT environment.
- Experience in identifying cost optimisation areas and driving cost saving targets.
