Giraffe Pictures is seeking a marketing executive to support and oversee its film marketing & partnership campaign for its main slate new release in 2026. It’s a contract-based job (8-10 months). You’ll be joining a small, fast-paced, yet passionate and driven team, and we’ll need you to be hands‑on in all aspects of film marketing/distribution.

Responsibilities:
Social Media Marketing
  • Ideate, plan, and execute social media marketing & communications strategies across various platforms for Giraffe’s 2026 new release
  • Manage and execute daily social media posts, stories, reposts, follower engagement, etc., in order to raise awareness, drive and sustain anticipation and excitement, and grow new audiences/followers creatively leading up to the film’s release
  • Copywriting for posts across different social media platforms, websites, and banners
  • Liaise with the designers and editors to coordinate and supervise the design and editing of posts
  • Be on top of the latest film-related news, trends, events, and ensure timely posting on social media
  • Monitor website and social media traffic, analyze data and ad spend, and adjust, develop, and execute plans based on data performance
Sponsorship & Event Activation
  • Brainstorm strategies for potential sponsorship, KOI/KOL collaboration, and partnership for events in planning (including premiere gala, special screenings, exhibitions, etc.) in pre‑release and post‑release phases
  • Proactively reach out and engage potential partnerships and community groups that help create awareness and publicity for the film release, or that align with the film’s subject matter and overall marketing identity
  • Negotiate and secure partnership/community engagement/events details
  • Coordinate logistics and liaise with vendors, sponsors, partners, and venues to ensure smooth event operations
  • Assist with social media pre‑event publicity, event coverage, and post‑event reporting/write‑up
Visibility & Ads
  • Assist/Liaise with media for press cover/interviews/film reviews for cast and crew
  • Assist in drafting and sending press kits and releases
  • Monitor and update press coverage, collate and archive press articles
  • Facilitate reaching out and securing P&A and other outdoor/physical advertisement placement
Merchandise
  • Brainstorm designs and sales strategy to drive sales and reach/awareness for film release
  • Liaise with designers, manufacturers, and the team for merch design and manufacturing
  • Oversee online and physical sales of merch
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust inventory and manufacturing strategy
Film Festival Run
  • Facilitate film festival travels for cast & crew
  • Plan logistics and scheduling during the festival runs, including premiere, press, conferences, interviews, etc.
Requirements
  • Self-starter, resourceful, organised, and have attention to detail
  • Good time management skills, strong interpersonal skills
  • Creative and be able to think outside the box
  • Marketing/distribution (in film or overall) experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Highly proficient in the use and management of social media platforms, including platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, TikTok, X, and RedNote
  • Proficiency in basic graphic design and video editing
  • The candidate must be based in Singapore
