About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Field Technician to deploy, install, and maintain IoT and LoRaWAN systems at client sites. This hands‑on role requires someone who is technically capable, eager to learn, and comfortable working independently in various field environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy and install IoT devices and LoRaWAN gateways at client sites according to technical specifications
  • Configure and commission wireless sensor networks and ensure proper connectivity
  • Perform site surveys to assess installation requirements and signal coverage
  • Conduct network troubleshooting and diagnose connectivity issues in the field
  • Test and validate system performance post‑installation
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and site conditions
  • Provide technical support and training to end‑users on basic system operations
  • Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades as required
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to report issues and recommend improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during field work
Education
  • ITE/Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Computer, Telecommunications, or related field)
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in field installation, technical support, or similar role
  • Hands‑on experience with network equipment or electronic systems installation preferred
Technical Skills
  • Network troubleshooting capabilities (TCP/IP, basic networking concepts)
  • Understanding of wireless communication technologies and RF (Radio Frequency) principles
  • Knowledge of antenna types, positioning, and signal propagation
  • Experience with configuration software and web‑based management portals
  • Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
