Job description
Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow the company’s business presence across South East Asia, with Singapore as the main focus market, while supporting other regions such as Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through proactive customer engagement and strategic business development.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to present products, introduce new technologies, and discuss ongoing or upcoming projects.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with distributors and channel partners to drive market coverage and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and engage key decision‑makers, understand customer requirements and competitive landscape, and formulate actionable sales and marketing plans.
  • Work closely with internal technical experts and field application engineers across multiple global offices to develop tailored solutions for customers.
  • Track project progress, customer feedback, and market trends, preparing regular reports for management on sales activities and forecasts.
  • Participate in industry exhibitions, trade shows, and promotional events to strengthen brand visibility and market awareness.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with 2 years of experience in a field sales or technical sales role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long‑term customer relationships.
  • Solid knowledge in motion and control systems, automation machinery, or system integration (e.g., linear stages, motors, drivers, motion controllers, gantry systems).
  • Self‑driven, comfortable with prospecting new customers, and eager to learn about emerging technologies and industrial applications.
  • Willingness to travel within Asia and occasionally to overseas offices for training.
