We are looking for a committed and technically skilled Fibre Network Operations Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on‑site support for fibre network operations, including the troubleshooting and rectification of fibre circuits. Key responsibilities include hands‑on tasks such as fibre splicing, termination, patching, and testing—particularly in support of cable diversion projects.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and external parties to ensure effective coordination and smooth project execution. Additionally, you will be required to remain on standby to respond to fibre cable faults related to diversion works, and to perform access fibre cable work in accordance with established operational procedures and engineering guidelines.

This role is critical in ensuring timely handover of fibre cable projects and addressing implementation issues efficiently.

  • Provide on‑site technical support for fibre network operations, including fault troubleshooting and circuit restoration.
  • Perform fibre splicing, termination, patching, and testing for all cable diversion‑related work.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
  • Remain on standby to respond to fibre cable faults associated with diversion activities.
  • Execute access fibre cable work in assigned areas in compliance with operational standards and engineering instructions.
  • Support timely project handovers and assist stakeholders in achieving project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve implementation and deployment issues.
  • Operate fibre testing and diagnostic equipment to support maintenance and fault‑finding efforts.
  • Assess on‑site situations and recommend the most effective technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
