Job summary

A design firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced FF&E Designer. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of hospitality project experience and a strong design flair. Key responsibilities include conceptualizing design directions and preparing specifications. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and good presentation skills are required. Candidates who are Singaporean or Permanent Residents are preferred for this role.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing design direction and selecting FF&E, Artwork for the projects, working closely with FF&E Design Manager and Interior Design team throughout every stage of design process.
• You will develop and prepare material finishes, ironmongery, sanitary & FF&E specifications in partnership with the FF&E team.
• Support in preparing and coordinating all FF&E documentation required for Tender stage and maintain FF&E budget estimate (if required by projects).
• Reviewing material samples, strike-offs shop drawings etc. for compliance with specifications and design intent.
• Assisting in managing the material library organized and keeping it up to date together with the FF&E team.
• Participate in project meetings, client work sessions, operator workshops and design review sessions as required.

Qualification Required

• An experience FF&E Designer at least 7 years of relevant HOSPITALITY project experience.
• Creative individual with eye for details, strong design flair, and excellent presentation skills.
• Pro-active personality with the ability to take initiative, self- motivated and a team player in all phases of the design process.
• Resourceful in sourcing and relevant knowledge of product qualifications, global vendors, and supplier contacts.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch-up, In Design, Microsoft Office, good in sketching and familiar with specification documentation.
• Singaporean or Permanent Resident of Singapore is preferred.
